The sequel to 2012's The Woman In Black teases fans with new video.
The British production company Hammer Films Production scored their biggest opening U.S. box office ever with 2012’s The Woman In Black. The film raked in $20 million opening weekend in the U.S. and went on to be the highest-grossing British horror film in 20 years. The success was in part to its star Daniel Radcliffe, making his first post-Potter film appearance. Now Hammer Films is premiering the trailer for the film’s sequel, The Woman In Black: Angel of Death.
Moving the time frame up to World War II, the sequel centers on Eve, a young school teacher who must move her school of children to safety during the London Blitz. Figuring the countryside is safest, Eve moves the kids to an abandoned, old estate, the Eel Marsh House. When children begin behaving strangely, Eve notices that a dark force has been awoken in the house.
Directed by Tom Harper (Peaky Blinders), the film stars Helen McCrory, Jeremy Irvine, and Adrian Rawlins. The film doesn’t premiere in the UK until February 13, 2015, but we have the first teaser trailer for the film below. Make sure to check out The Woman In Black: Angel of Death when it makes its way stateside.
