taken 3 trailer

Watch the first trailer for Liam Neeson's return to the world of Bryan Mills in Taken 3. All we have to say to bad guys is: good luck.

First they took his daughter (big mistake). Then they tried to take him (pure lunacy). At this point, the only place bad guys should want to take Liam Neeson is a nice seafood restaurant. Somehow though, I doubt that is in the cards for Taken 3.

If you watch the trailer for Liam Neeson on the warpath in Taken 3, it becomes clear that the happy ending of mother, father, and daughter was short-lived when a mysterious presence decides to take something again from Mr. Neeson’s Bryan Mills alpha male bad guy disposer—his reconciled wife Lenny (Famke Janssen). Bah, resurrected in one 20th Century Fox movie franchise only to be killed off in another. But those are the breaks when anyone gets close to Bryan Mills—or worse becomes antagonistic.

As Forest Whitaker breathlessly says in the trailer, they’re all coming for Liam Neeson now: the LAPD, the FBI, the CIA, and probably SHIELD too. It doesn’t matter; all the luck in the world won’t save them from his particular set of skills.

Neeson described the film earlier this month as, “I have to go on the run, I’ll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities.” Neeson added, “Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me.”

Don’t worry, I suspect the American moviegoing public will like you and Bryan just fine. Taken 3, which also features the returning Maggie Grace, shoots into theaters on January 9, 2015.
