"Everything was against us", Christian Bale says of his time on Terminator: Salvation, as he admits he's no plans to return to the series.
While on the publicity trail for his new movie, Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods And Kings, Christian Bale seems to be fielding no shortage of questions about his earlier screen roles. The latest example? His work in Terminator: Salvation has come up.
More to the point, Bale was asked by MTV if he had any interest in reprising his role in a future Terminatorfilm. It would be fair to say that he doesn't. "I wish them better luck then we had," he said of the Terminator: Genisys team. "It didn't work for us. Everything was against us."
Confirming that he didn't have any conversations about returning to the Terminatorfilms, he said that "I know we gave it a shot. It didn't work. I know the reasons for that. Wisdom sometimes is knowing when you just need to walk away."
"I wish them the best," he added.
Last week, of course, Christian Bale also confirmed that he wouldn't be working with Terminator: Salvation's director, McG, anytime soon.
