Tom Cruise and Doug Liman may reunite for Mena

Whilst Edge Of Tomorrow has managed to find a bigger audience on disc and on demand, it's box office take last summer is still a good deal less than it deserves. It's a terrific sci-fi blockbuster, and if you've not had the chance to see it yet, it's worth going out of your way to catch it. It ain't perfect, but it's very, very good.

Director Doug Liman and star Tom Cruise clearly enjoyed working together on the film at least, as they pair have now been linked with another project. The film in question is Mena, penned by Gary Spinelli, which tells the story of a drug trafficker, and the work he did both for a crime cartel and the CIA. It's based on a true story, that took place in Mena, Arkansas in the 1980s.

Brian Grazer leads the producers on the project, and both Liman and Cruise are said to be in talks for the film now. Ron Howard had been previously linked to it. Cruise has to finish work on Mission: Impossible 5 first, but this may turn out to be his next venture...
